We asked kids to explain what Christmas is and their answers are adorable.
The true meaning of Christmas may have got lost in all the present-buying and mulled-wine drinking that goes on at this time of year.
So we decided to ask some primary school pupils at Eldon Primary School what they think Christmas is all about and their answers are totally adorable.
There were lots of references to Santa, which is to be expected. But many of the children described Christmas as a time to be with your loved ones, to eat together at the table and to talk.
And if that isn’t what Christmas is all about, we don’t know what is.
