Gifted and Talented trip to the Bank of England
Children from Years 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 had a fascinating visit to the Bank of England. We had an opportunity to learn about the history of money and also the role that the Bank of England has in taking good care of our economy. We also picked up a 13 kg gold bar, worth some £300,000! We also saw some notes worth £1,000. Afterwards, we had a tasty lunch at McDonald’s before returning home to school.
