Organisation of the School Day

Mornings

• We have a breakfast club that runs daily from 8.00am (see here for more details)

 

The start of the school day is staggered for parents with children in different year groups across the school.

 

• Terrific Twos sessions run from 8.45am to 11.45am and 12.30pm to 3.30pm (see here for more details)

 

• Nursery sessions run from 8.45am to 11.45am and 12.30pm to 3.30pm

 

• The Junior school day begins at 8.50am

 

• The Infant school day begins at 8.55am

 

(If you are late please ensure you are signed in at the late desk or school office before going to your classroom.)

 

• Registration 8.50/8.55am to 9.00/9.05am

KS2 children take part in a 'Morning Challenge' during registration.

 

Breaks

• Year 1 and 2 morning break is from 10.10am to 10.25am

 

• Year 5 and 6 morning break is from 10.30am to 10.45am

 

• Year 3 and 4 morning break is from 10.50am to 11.05am

 

KS2 children are able to buy a range of healthy snacks in the hall during morning break.

KS1 children enjoy their snack after break.

 

Lunch

• Reception lunchtime is from 11.30am to 12.30pm

 

• Year 1, 2 and 5 lunchtime is from 12.00pm to 1.00pm

 

• Year 4 lunchtime is from 12.15pm to 1.15pm

 

• Year 3 and 6 lunchtime is from 12.30pm to 1.30pm

 

Afternoons

• All year groups partake in a daily exercise session (Year 6 session is after their morning break)

 

• Year 1 Daily Supported Reading session (see here for more details)

 

• The Infant school day ends at 3.15pm

Children to be collected outside their classroom door.

 

• The Junior school day ends at 3.20pm

Year 3 & 5 children to be collected from the main playground.
Year 4 & 6 children to be collected from the back playground.
