Little Wandle

In September we will be moving to a complete systematic synthetic phonics programme (SSP) validated by the Department of Education. It has developed for schools by schools and is called Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised.

Below is a link to their parent’s page on the website. On here, you will find guidance for saying the sounds and writing the letters. There are also some useful videos so you can see how they are taught at school and feel confident about supporting their reading at home.

Throughout the year we will run parents sessions so please look out for dates and times.
