Dear Parents and Carers
As you may know, the flu vaccination programme across all schools in England is now underway.
This public health initiative aims to reduce the number of deaths and hospital admissions associated with flu.
Eldon Primary School’s next date of flu vaccination is Thursday 06/11/2025. If you have not completed the e-consent form for your child's Flu Vaccination. Please find link below, remember this e-consent needs to be filled out for your child if you want your child to receive the flu vaccination or Not.

You do not need to fill out the form again, if it has already been filled out. It only needs to be completed once.
Vaccination UK have delivered a free webinar, now available to watch Flu FAQs - Parent Webinar Sept 2025 - YouTube, which explains why the flu vaccination is offered to children. The webinar covers important topics such as types of vaccines available, the safety of the vaccine, and the impact flu has on people’s health and on hospitals.
