Dear Parents/Carers,
I hope that you are coping in these difficult times.
Following on from recent announcements by the government, I can confirm that school will remain closed from Monday 20th for most children.
As before the Easter break, schools are being asked to open to offer childcare to certain groups of children. One of these is essential or key workers. Children who were attending before the Easter break are registered to return on the 20th.
If your situation has changed and you think that you are eligible for childcare on the basis of the list below please email us at office@eldonprimary.enfield.sch.uk. We will then contact you to confirm if you have a place.
If your child fits into any of the other eligible groups mentioned by the government we will have been contacting you directly and registering your children as required.
I hope that those of you eligible for free school meals have been receiving your codes and collecting your entitlement from any pay point.
We will continue to give out breakfast packs each Monday at 9.00am in the playground if you would like one.
Currently we are still asking children to complete the work set in their year group sections of the website. We are intending to move to using Google Classrooms from 4th May, this will enable more interaction between teachers and children. Information on how children can access this will be sent out next week in texts to your phone.
I wish you all well in these difficult times. We will be staffed in the office, in the mornings, again from Monday, please call the office if there is anything we can do to help you.
Best Wishes

As directed by the government school is currently remaining open. In order that we prevent any illness from spreading please act on the guidance below;
We will continue to closely monitor the health of children and adults in school and will ask parents to collect children who show any symptoms.
There may be further guidance given later this week, particularly with regards to vulnerable groups. If you do consider yourself to be vulnerable and are self-isolating please let us know.
The office are receiving large numbers of phone call so please bear with us. If you are self-isolating you only need to let us know once.
Best Wishes
