They say practice is the mother of skill and Eldons Glee team proved this with 3rd place at the Enfield Glee finals.

Eldon Junior Choir at The Lamb Festival

The Eldon choir pictured with Rev Stuart Owen sang two numbers at All Saints church for the Lamb Festival in Edmonton. It went down such a treat the choir were featured in the Edmonton Adviser.

KS1 Music Festival

Wow! Year 2 Red Hot group sang 'The scary fairground ride' at the Music Festival. They were congratulated on their 3 part singing.

Year 5 Topic is writing a song. They have been learning about the purpose of lyrics, melody and song structure. In the picture and video clip below you can see them focused listening to 'One and a Million' readying to figure out the structure of the song in A, B, C format.

Year 6 Semi Breves (GT) in the process of creating the end part of 'Lunch time Bling'. They will be performing their piece during easter assembly for the Juniors and Infants.

Year 2 Red Hot Group visit to the Royal Festival Hall

Year 2 Red Hot Group went to see a concert by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. It was very good and so were our children! We admired the view over London before enjoying the concert and stood on Hungerford Bridge outside the Royal Festival Hall.

Ruby class perform ‘Noah’s space shuttle rap’. Each group decide what gift they would like to take to space on Noah’s shuttle. Then each group invented their own spoken rhythm to go with their rhythmic pattern action.

In seasonal fashion, G & T perform ‘Lets Harvest’ in morning assembly. The blend of their precise vocals created a warm ambience in the ground level hall. The G & T singers closed with a smooth “Ooooooo bah bah” harmony they had spent time practicing to get right and they definitely did.

Reach for the Stars

Choir and Ensemble gave us an upbeat number with ‘Reach for the Starts’ by S.Club7. The soloists lead the song with tight backing and harmonies from their fellow group members and the ensemble.

Venus class learnt a West African call and response greeting “Ab in ya di” “Ab in ya ma” in Mandika, meaning “How are you doing” “I’m doing fine”. In the clip Mr Logan gives the call and the class respond.
