At Eldon Primary School bullying is not acceptable and all children including those with SEND have the right to be happy and feel safe while they are at school.
The Inclusion team are proactive in helping children to realise that bullying is unacceptable. Pictures, symbols, social stories and actions are used to help children to understand that bullying is not tolerated at our school.
We encourage and need children and parents to tell us when they are having difficulties or if they have concerns about their child.
If you have a concern regarding bullying or any other behaviour issues, please contact your child’s class teacher or the Inclusion Team.
All staff are aware of vulnerable groups of children and ensure that these pupils are supervised accordingly.
Incidents of bullying involving SEND are recorded identifying if the SEN pupil is the victim or perpetrator.
